Certificate of Insurance (COI)
The City of Palmdale requires event organizers and participating vendors to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to protect the City, event participants, and the public from potential liability related to accidents, injuries, property damage, or other unforeseen incidents that may occur during the event. For community events such as Thursday Night On The Square, this requirement helps ensure that adequate financial protection is in place, promotes responsible event operations, and helps maintain a safe environment for all attendees while minimizing risk to public property and City resources.
Following, you will find a sample Certificate of Insurance (COI) showing the required format and information. Please submit this sample to your insurance company and request that they issue a COI specifically for Thursday Night On The Square. Once completed, please email your COI to events@theventurafoundation.org as soon as possible.
